Through his actions, charcteristics loyalty, acceptance of both fate and Christian beliefs, and love of glory are witnessed in Beowulf, each of which are strong Anglo-Saxon ideals. Loyalty and allegiance, two extreme ideals of Anglo-Saxon culture, where of the most prominent attributes of Beowulf, who remained loyal not only to his men but also his leaders. Anglo-Saxon culture demonstrated a combination of pagan and Christian values, both of which are witnessed in Beowulf through his strong belief in fate adn his constant references to God and Heaven. Beowulf also shows signsof a need for glory, he is constantly in search of it, already obtained much of it, adn if constantly boasting, this is an obvious representation of the Anglo-Saxon ideal of the love of glory. Beowulf is very typical of the Anglo-Saxon culture and ideals in his beliefs and actions.
