1994. This fourth decade began with significant changes both on and off the screen. On the corporate front the Company’s name changed from Television and Telecasters Limited to Network Ten Limited. However one of the most notable on air program changes at the begining of the year saw Deryn Hinch replaced by the ill fated Alan Jones live. Then just…. weeks later the Alan Jones Show fell victim to poor ratings and was also taken off air. Pics Hinch and Jones. A COUNTRY PRACTICE- 1994 A COUNTRY PRACTICE shifted production from Sydney to Melbourne and from HSV7 to the Ten Network.* First Broadcast: April 13th 1994 it starred Joyce Jacobs, Joan Sidney, Andrew Blackburn, Vince Colosimo, Claudia Black, Paul Gleeson, Jane Hall, Alyce Platt. Continuation of the long-running and immensely popular drama serial set in the small country town of Wandin Valley. The weeknight timeslot was soon changed to Sunday afternoons, and the program ended after only 30 episodes at its new home ACP pics HEART BREAK HIGH- 1994 This Australian series grew out of a stage play and film called The Heartbreak Kid and involved the lives of the students at Inner City Hartley High.
