Some heroic deeds are instantly recognized, like the saving actions on September 11th and the days after of our firefighters, our law enforcement agents, our emergency personnel, our search and rescue workers and many others. ... There were many common citizens who braved extraordinarily dangerous circumstances, to help others in need. They are all, without question, heroes to me. ...
