Planet Earth has approximately six billion humans and countless beasts all sharing this small space. It is imperative for each of us to be considerate of the needs and feelings of our fellow inhabitants. Our world would be a much better place if we would all remember this. I try to remain mindful of this in my daily life, but I admit is hard. In this fast-paced, me-oriented society, it is very easy to look at paying small considerations to others as being too inconvenient. My biggest pet peeve is inconsideration. Being inconsiderate is the crux of all of society’s ills. When one looks at the social climate of our world and wonder why we have so much hate and fighting, just begin a simple evaluation of the facts. Start with the most immediate inconsiderate act and think back to its cause. I can assure you that the cause was another inconsiderate act, and so on as far back as you can go. Inconsideration begat more inconsideration. Have you ever lost a friend due to misconduct, regardless of who was at fault?
