Are pants glorious? This is difficult to categorize. Some would say yes. Others, no. Still, it is the dualist nature of pants that keeps millions flocking to them worldwide. Why? To understand the reasons why people wear pants is to understand the pants themselves. Pants are usually characterized by two tubes of cloth connected at the top to form one tube. Imagine an upside-down letter Y and you have a good idea of what a pair of pants looks like.The Rebellion of 1837 was about many revolts and attacks against the rule of Great Britain. Peasants and civilians were fighting for democracy and independence. By the time the crisis ended in 1838, hundreds had been killed, thousands were refugees, and the colonial regime was back in place. Tensions had been building for years before 1837 in the provinces of Lower Canada and Upper Canada. Many movements in both provinces led to strengthen the powers of the elected assemblies.
