Ta for the memories Edith is a very nostalgic woman; she loves peace and silence. She sings in the local choir. She lives in her own little harmonic world, with her job as an editor in a small family business. She is not into pop music or any other noisy things. She thinks the pop performers are ridiculous “Didn’t they know how silly they looked?”. But as she gets to know Kenny Loathsome, she becomes more and more attracted to him. Despite the enormous difference between their lives, she has always been attracted to elder men even though he was a raw rag, who does not care about other people. It protects him, not to care about other people; then they cannot hurt him. That protection might rub off on Edith, so she feels secure, and she does not get that in her daily life, from a man anyway. She does everything on a regular basis, simple and calm, just to protect herself from any unknown things. When she meets Kenny Loathsome, her hole world changes.
