Satanic Ritual Abuse Disorder
Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA) is a “group of individuals, assumed to be in association with a widespread conspiracy, practice physical, emotional, and spiritual abuse on unwilling victims in a ritualistic manner, especially in connection with a commitment to Satanism. This is distinguished from loner or isolated small group abuse (SRA Glossary).” There are two ways that the pendulum of belief concerning satanic ritual abuse swings. ... There is more opportunity to get away with abuse, neglect, and incest, etc. ... Another reason is the newfound unity amongst evangelists and feminists in the fight against both pornography and physical and sexual child abuse. ... Satanic ritual abuse is a modern day witch hunt, which is in some ways even worse than the Salem witch hunts, because today society has access to media which makes knowing news around the world as easy as turning on a computer, TV, or even in some cases observing trends in the subject of movies and books. ... In the movie Rosemary was very convincing that throughout the whole pregnancy she had no idea that her husband made a pact with the devil, and that satanic activity was right under her nose.
