The players disagreed with the luxury tax because they say it lowers their salaries, and that it penalizes the owners for their big contracts with some players. The players have so far agreed to a limited tax. The average players salary per year is around 2.38 million.I think this article relates to conflict because the whole baseball season will be gone if the players go on strike, making it bad for everyone.
