First of the important choices Hamlet made during the play was to believe the “father ghost” which told Hamlet that Claudius(Hamlets fathers brother) killed him by pouring poison in his ear. Hamlet acted lovesick until he made his plan to re-enact his fathers’ death in a play. The Players had just come in and they agreed to do this for Hamlet, not knowing the reason Hamlet was doing this. ... If Claudius acts strange and gets upset during this play, then everyone will know Claudius killed Hamlet’s father, and Claudius will be killed.
