Dear President Bush, Maybe you have not yet discover the problem of state funding for education, but the problem has occurred prior the year of 1995. Appropriate school funding is very important for students like us, who now has to suffer from paying a higher tuition, and losing crucial resources that were available before the states decision in statewide a budget cut. Just this past summer, a high school, more specifically Cerritos High School, in my city could not fund for summer school classes for honor student like my cousin, who wants to advance themselves by taking more classes during the summer. I believe there are many similar incidents in many other high schools across the nation due to budget cuts and inappropriate school funding. Because no one has really addressed the importance of this issue on a platform, I would like to briefly discuss the issue with you, and hopefully our government can soon work out a possible solution to solve the problem. According to my research on school funding from an article ¡§unequal school¡¨ by Bruce J. Biddle and David C. Berliner, the Supreme Court has made a landmark ruling in 1973, stating that the U.S.
