Violence in Islamic societies is the result of certain conditions that exist in those cultures; the main problem being religious fundamentalism. These conditions persist within the Islamic societies regardless of the country. Islamic religious fundamental beliefs lead to the tenet of jihad, perceived religious superiority, repression of women and dictatorial forms of government, which all contribute to intense frustration. This aggravation lays the foundation for the present actions of violence. ... 44% of the American public now believes that Islam, more than any other religion it likely to “encourage violence among its believers.” This fear of violence is for real, although Islamic Fundamentalists may beg to differ. ... It is Fundamentalism. ... We may never find an answer, because jihad is such a way of life in most Islamic everyday doings. ... “Harakat ul-Jihad-I-Islami” is a leading cause of violence in Kashmir. The “Palestinian Islamic Jihad”, “Yemeni Islamic Jihad”, “Egyptian Islamic Jihad”, and bin Laden’s organization, “The International Islamic Front for the Jihad against Jews and Crusaders” are other jihad movements in the Muslim-majority countries. The over-obsessive Islamic Fundamentalists are the ones committing these horrifying deaths at the expense of every other non-Muslim.
