C. GROUP MARKETING PLAN PROJECT (22.5%) To further apply marketing concepts and enhance problem-solving and team-building skills each group is to select a product or service from one of the companies listed in The 100 Leading National Advertisers published by Advertising Age (www.adage.com) in June 2002. You are to assume that you are one of three marketing consulting firms bidding for the management of the selected product or service. The annual marketing plan should cover all marketing activities for the year 2003. At your option, you may assume individual roles of Directors of Marketing, Marketing Research, Customer Satisfaction, Distribution, Pricing and Promotion. It is highly recommended to be creative and innovative so that you are awarded the business. In addition to an animated PowerPoint presentation summarizing the marketing plan, you should include in your presentation product displays and demonstrations when possible. Showing videos or current commercials, having music during parts of the presentation, and presenting a skit are additional ways to demonstrate your team's reasons to be awarded the business.
