(just my intro) No matter where one travels in Canada today, it is not uncommon to hear disgruntled citizens complaining about the amount of taxes they have to pay. In a way, such unrest is understandable; after taking into consideration the amount of hours that tax-paying employees must invest in order to earn their money, one can see why it is difficult for them to accept that they must entrust such a considerable portion of their salaries to the federal and provincial governments.
