A Lesson from a Bug

In sunny California there are blue skies, sandy beaches, and miles of coast to ride on. What a great place to cruise around in a fun car like a Volkswagen bug. When I got to California my Honda was falling apart. All the driving had taken its toll on my car. The brakes were bad, the radiator was leaking, the registration would be costly, and it was getting old. I had a little bit of money from my grandfather, and I decided to buy the car I wanted, so I found myself a bug. I bought the first one I could; I think it was six hundred dollars. It took me around the city on my test drive, but that same night the transmission went out. I got it home and it still worked all right in the low gears, but I had to pay another six hundred dollars to get it fixed. The next problem was the registration, there were tickets on the car that I had to pay for, and there was a lien on the car that I had to pay off.
