Philosophy is the organization of thought based on logic and reason. It is the foundation of pedagogy. Philosophy hypothesized an effective and systematic explanation in the teaching and learning process of pedagogy. There are two aspects of philosophy; the explanation of phenomenon and the speculation of the future essentially the “what ought to be”. ... After, the discovery of science and its conglomeration with philosophy a new discipline known as psychology was generated. Philosophy then was transformed into psychology.
Philosophy is subcategorized into three branches: metaphysics, epistemology and axiology. Each branch of philosophy correlates to pivotal concepts in education. Metaphysics is the area of philosophy concentrated on the study of the supernatural, spiritual and conceptual underlying nature of things and ultimate reality. ...
