Fourth and Inches Time was running down in the fourth quarter of the championship football game at osbourn park high school. They had managed to bring the game back to a score of 21-17 in the second half, against the one team in the league who was undefeated... Hilton. O.P was on their last drive of the game with only 10 seconds left. They had no time outs left and needed to go to the end zone to win. The Offense went into their huddle breathing intensely, you could smell the determination in the air and of the hard work that the team had put out to get this far. The quarterback stepped in and called out the play “ rifle right green on hut, rifle right green on hut, Ready? BREAK.” The team hustled up to the 50 yard line with their breath showing in the cool fall night air. The offensive line dropped down in to their three point stance looking straight into the eyes of the enemy. The quarterback walked up slowly to the center making sure that everyone was in place. He looked at the defensive players as they went into their formation. He placed his hands under the center, took another look at his team and called out the cadence “red 192, red 192, down, set, hut! The line collapsed onto the defense, the quarterback dropped back and looked down field.
