Dating the Enemy is an amusing comedy where the two main characters, Tash and Brett, swap into each others bodies and take a whole new perspective into each others lives and sexuality. The story begins on Valentines Day where Brett and Tash meet at a party. They both seem to be lonely, but he turns very kind and romantic when they get together and start a relationship. The movie then jumps one year into the future. Brett gives a bunch of flowers to Tash that were given to him as a Valentines present. When Tash finds out she just received flowers from one of Brett’s admirers, she becomes very upset at him. They have and argument at the party and Tash sees another girl kiss Brett passionately, she storms off with the words “I wish you could be me so you could see how I feel for once.
