Home is where the heart is, lucky is the person whose home taught the heart and the mind to govern and discipline oneself and later on to make decisions governed by an adherence to a moral code. The time comes when we leave the safety and security of home and venture into the world on our own. From the cradle we go forth slowly step by step reaching new milestones without realizing they are the steps on the journey towards independence. We start with the small decisions early on in our lives. The first day in school, the first trip across the street without anyone holding our hand, the first party and on and on till we find ourselves adults. Adults living examined lives, adults with integrity, adults who are governed by guides when making decisions.
