Violence in the Media
Violence in the media has become a debatable free speech issue. ... The modern issues of violence in the media are over gory movies, video games based on killing, and music lyrics that preach violence for prejudice and other immoral reasons. ... A large portion of these studies have had results that reveal a direct link between media violence and real life acts of violence. ... The results showed that almost a third of the inmates were imitating something from the media when they committed these crimes.
