Almost everyone in the world has known or has heard of the teenage wizard Harry Potter.
For those who do not know Harry, he is the boy, who, on his eleventh birthday, discovers that he is not a regular kid, but yet, he is, in fact, a wizard. ... Rowling, the author of the well-renowned book series, was on the train when Harry walked into her mind fully formed. She spent the next five years constructing the plot for seven books, one for every year of Harry’s secondary school life.
Orphaned at the age of one, by the most feared ‘Dark Lord’ of that time, Harry learns potions, transfiguration, spells and the aerodynamic broomstick sport called Quidditch while attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Ever since he stepped into the world of the magical community, Harry went into an archive of white-knuckle adventures and stared death in the eye for three times, so far. The reason for all the commotion in his life is because he survived the killing curse ‘Avada Kedavra’ (which literally means disappear like this verse), this is the spell that murdered Harry’s parents and eternally left him with a lightning scar on his forehead. It was hexed by no other than the so-called ‘Dark Sorcerer’ Lord Voldemort (from Voleur de mort, meaning "thief of death"), his name is so cowered by the millions that he is usually dubbed ‘You-Know-Who’ or ‘He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named’, except by Harry, Albus Dumbledore and a few others like Hermione (in the movies) and their Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher Professor Remus Lupin. ... Ronald or Ron Weasley is Harry’s red-haired bestfriend, belonging also to the Gryffindor house, along with Harry and shrewd, know-it-all Hermione Granger, another one of Harry’s bestfriends. ... Expelled from Hogwarts in his third year, it was his job to fetch Harry and bring him to the hideous Dursleys, Harry’s only living relatives. He was the one who introduced Harry to the wizarding world, and was sort of like a guardian when Harry was still unaware of the surprises that awaits him in the magical society.
Being so popular, so admired, so looked up on, it is quite impossible that Harry doesn’t have a rival. ... Spiteful and malicious, evil and strong-willed, Draco loathes Harry (and vice-versa) ever since their first train-ride to Hogwarts when Harry didn’t accept him as an ‘acquaintance’. ...
