Having seen Fight Club before, the most prominent thought in my mind as I watched this film was the use of Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) as a fragment of Norton’s personality. ... You begin to notice how they’re never referred to together and characters don’t recognise them both being in the same place at the same time – it’s either one of them talking – Brad Pitt laying down the rules of Fight Club whilst Ed Norton stands and listens.
