Human Resource Management is a concern that firms have to face due to its complexity. “Human resource Management is a new mindset about how employees should be managed in the workplace” and it is related to the collected stock of skills, knowledge and abilities that the employees get, “which the firm has build up over time into an identifiable expertise”. International Human Resource Management is a real challenge, it requires a vaster view of what operating internationally implies. Moreover it involves a clear recognition of the type of problems related to “all categories of staff operating in different functional, task, and managerial capacities is essential”. Indeed, managing people in a multinational context is the essence of International Human Resource Management. We will emphasize key-questions through a general idea of the subject and criticisms. Firstly we will describe the main vital activities of International Human Resource Management related to a Domestic aspect. In addition, International Human Resource Management is complex naturally because of the multinational context that’s why we will outline this point in details. Next, we will give examples of International Human Resource Management differences between countries. Then, we will relate the perspective of an harmonization of International Human Resource Management: Is it possible and realistic? And finally, my own perspectives in this issue will be expressed: indeed, what did this analysis bring me personally? The business globalization involves an effective and efficient Human Resource Management. “Operating in different countries and employing different countries and employing different national categories of employees” is a complex management that leads to convergences between Domestic and International Human resource Management. Firstly, general model of Human Resource Management implements mainly six activities which are human resource planning, performance management, staffing, training and development, compensation and benefits, and labor relations. However, International Human Resource Management defers from it; How? International Human Resource Management is more involved than the Domestic aspect in activities. Human Resource Management strategy is a gain of competence and a source of competitive benefit. It is more intricate, it is a real challenge to face Human Resource Management issues related to international business operations.
