The use of climax in his 2nd stanza, explains to the reader that even through the continuous change of landscape and humanity, the eagle has still survived. The rhyme scheme AA, BB, CC, DD, EE, FF, GG, HH reflects the progression of the fight for freedom and is reflected in line 4 of stanza 2”, he mocks at Time’s changes, he triumphs o’er all;”
