The Necessary Nuisance
All too often people take what they have for granted. ... Let’s take the question one step further… what if we did not have cars?
There are many positive aspects to not having cars. ... Not only would pollution go way down without cars but also the amount of deaths due to accidents would plummet. ... Because we have cars, which can travel at great speeds of up to 200 mile per hour, we do not feel the desire or even see the point of walking somewhere or riding a bike. ... Without cars people would be in better physical condition and as a result would live happier, healthier lives. ... Cars guzzle more gas than we know what to do with. Maybe without cars we would also be having fewer wars over things like oil because we would not have such a high demand for them. Cars contribute to many world problems.
Although living without cars sounds like such a great thing think of all of the sacrifices that would have to be made.
