What if you were at war and you shot your own brother? Well the main character in the short story “The Sniper” did and he not only shot his brother he also got shot by him. This story is a exciting story in which conflict, setting, and irony play a huge part in making this story fun to read. The conflict is fantastic because there is suspense to it. The story is so suspenseful because you never know if anyone is going to pop out of anywhere and shot him. I think the author should have gave us more clues why he was there and what he was doing because it took a long time to figure it out.
