Most of the things I learned from this assignment were learned by conducting the interview. I managed to come up with questions that would help me understand the kind of things it takes to get a good job after graduating from college. I had twenty-two questions that I asked. I asked every single question and received a lot of valuable information. One thing that I realized was that finding a job after college can be very stressful. I thought that after college it would be very easy to find a job, but from the information I received from Ms. Guillen, I realized that is not the case. After college, you have to have patience and good qualifications to make it less stressful to find a job. Education is really important to being well qualified for a good job. Ms. Guillen did not find a job right away. Right after graduating from California State University, Stanislaus, she still had the same job she had prior to graduating from college. Having the same job during and after college is a very stressful experience. Once a student graduates from college, he can’t just sit at home and expect to have an employment opportunity come to you.
