As I was looking at two characters to compare I came upon two that would not at first seem to have anything in common, yet after thinking about it and comparing the two I know Charles Bovary of Madame Bovary and Nancy of Oliver Twist had many moral characteristics and physical characteristics in common. ...
When we look at Charles and Nancy on the outside and also materialistically we could say they have nothing in common. Charles came from a home with two parents, his mother went to great lengths to make sure that he had a future. ... Nancy on the other hand was born a child of the streets for the most part. ... She did not grow up with the love and protection in her life that Charles did. Even though Charles and Nancy did not exactly come from the some background, does not make them entirely opposite from each other.
Charles’ love life and Nancy’s love life had many similarities as well.
