Agriculture and how it affects the Diet In Greece olives are plentiful. The people of suburban Greece still have small farms which they hand plough, hand sow and hand care for. In the suburbs people are too poor to have sprinklers or hoses so they only have watering cans or pots. A curved knife/tool is used to cut the wheat, barely and other crops. Greece is the only country so far that I have seen to still be doing many things the old fashioned way and the traditional way. As a result of this the people of Greece have got a good healthy diet. Normal days people would eat olive dishes and a lot of salads and fruit. The only thing that they may lack in would be meats but only by a small portion.
