I believe that the whole article “Netiquette, or the social convention of computer conferencing” is a theory put forward by Gary Alexander based on other theories and his own observations and opinions. The Theory behind, Group Conferencing is to reach a consensus without leaving people resentful and dissatisfied, using the modified social conventions for on-line discussion. ...
