Early Years
Jim Pattison’s inspiration for starting his own business was his love for cars. He used to sell used cars on a street curb to get through university, then he went to work for Dan McLean at a used car lot, when McLean moved and became a partner in a GM dealership, Bowell McLean Motor Dealership, Jimmy when with him to manage the used car lot, within 8 months he was managing two other lots for McLean.
