SUMMARY

David Green had just graduated from junior high school and will be entering St. ... The coach oriented him on things about the school, as well as with the team. ... Then they were all gather on the chapel for the acceptance that was delivered by the school headmaster. During the speech, the headmaster told all the newcomers how the academy values honor above all else and that policies and regulations of the school, as well as all the other things that are involved in running the institution, were governed by the value that is given to honor. The academy was a preparatory school before entering college and with this, the whole educational system is rigid and standards are kept high. ... In the French class, the original professor was on a vacation and they were given a substitute teacher who was very strict – perhaps only sticking to the standards that the school adheres to. ... Matthew’s football team hasn’t been that successful during the previous year, that’s why the team coach scouted for new players and that was how he saw David Green play football for his high school team. ... They started searching the whole school ground but they never found him. ... He was infuriated by this and he posted a message on the dorm wall saying that whoever made that banner meet him at the school yard that night. ... Before starting the exam proper, the teacher told them that the school values honor that’s why he was leaving them trusting that they would act honorably. ... Matthew’s proved to be a good school, as was evidently shown that graduates usually go to Ivy League institutions. ... It also provided the viewer different views of how a student would react to school policies and regulations, as well as behavior of faculty members, and non-teaching school personnel.

Though the movie revolves around the school campus all through out, it is not an exclusive classroom act but showed day-to-day lives of the students, reacting on the everyday humdrums of schoolwork and peer pressure, as well as adhering to academic standards set for them by the institution.

The hearts the story are the ties that are born among classmates, all of them coming from a variance of status and motives.
