What do you value you in life? Do you value family, friends, or health? What about the value that is placed on your future? ... We are taught to place a certain amount of value on the things we once did and, more importantly, the things we will do. Generation after generation have had the tendency to place value on different trends and/or concepts that come their way, and obtaining a college education is no exception to that rule. ... The notion that higher education equals higher earnings, high potential for social and personal growth, and the all-around idea that life will be more prosperous with more education, seems to be the driving force behind the high value placed on obtaining a college education.
