According to the World Heath Organization, Cardiovascular Diseases are those that affect the heart and blood vessels including the following:
-Hypertension (high blood pressure)
-Coronary Heart Disease (heart attack)
-Cerebrovascular disease (stroke)
-Peripheral vascular disease
-Heart failure
-Rheumatic heart disease
-Congenital heart disease
-Cardiomyopathies
The most dangerous of these is Heart Disease. According to The National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, Heart Disease is blamed for 725,192 out of 2,391,399 (30. ... It may also be alarming that Heart Disease killed 15,231 people of ages 35-44 for 1999. ... 2% of all deaths that age group; Heart Disease killed more people of this age group than did HIV. ...
