¡°Where was God on September 11, 2001?¡± Initial Thoughts: A lot of Americans start to doubt about God¡¯s existence after September 11th¡¯s tragedy. Why does God permit evil? Where was God when the World Trade Center and the Pentagon attacked? Why didn¡¯t he bless all those people who had faith on him, how could he let us suffering through all those tragedies? How could a loving God allow it? ¡°God Bless America¡± is one of our nation¡¯s theme songs. After the tragedies, peoples are confused and blur with their identity. Americans are confused with their identity as citizen of God¡¯s Kingdom with as citizens of the Unites States. A friend of mine lost her son on the September 11th. She is a Catholic Christianity. She goes to the church every Sunday and prays to the God every day. Not only that, she reads the Bible whenever she had time, she is totally enthusiasm in God. She thought God should¡¯ve blessed her and her family, but she think God didn¡¯t.
