The Media and Me I love the way those guys talk! I sometimes find myself watching the way they talk, that voice, rather than actually listning to thew news their reporting. I can even get myself to sound like them, I used to pratice with a cork in my mouth reading the newspaper out loud. Then when I took the cork out of my mouth and read the paper again slowly, I would annunciate the pronunciation of each word, sounding just like what I heard on t.v. When I do listen to what their saying, usually it’s the local news station in the area. Whether its t.v. or radio, its always the local stations, they tend to sound more real, and like their talking to you, not the masses. I can’t say that I am an active consumer off news, though I wish I could be. I wish that had a subscription and the time for the San Francisco Chronicle. The only time I find myself reading the paper is when I am waiting for my boyfriend at his work, he is always working past five. I only read certain sections, usually the cover stories, the section with Marin and those other two counties.
