Gandhi A Man of Vision

Gandhi: A Man of Vision
When I sat down to write this paper, it took me a long time to decide who to write about. I thought of all the people throughout history that had a vision. ... Gandhi “Mahatma Gandhi”, Oct 2, 1869 to Jan 30, 1948. Although not an expert on Gandhi, I felt that I could find enough information regarding his vision and felt it worthy to write about. In this paper, I will discuss how Gandhi’s vision meets or lacks each basic requirement for an effective vision.
The first basic requirement for an effective vision is defined by Manning, Curtis, & McMillen (1996) that a vision must be developed by leaders, those individuals with strength and influence to establish direction and mobilize the community.
