Good morning ladies and gentlemen my name is Eric and I would like to tell you about a movie that I think you should see. It does not have much action but it is suspenseful and demonstrates mans potential for in humanity. An amazing director filmed this movie in an ingenious way. The film is “ROPE” by Alfred Hitchcock. For those of you who may not know, Alfred Hitchcock was an amazing director who completely terrified his audiences during his day. He was known to his audiences as the "Master of Suspense". He directed such works as Vertigo, Psycho, The Birds and Rear Window. In his movies, he takes a look at the dark side of humanity. He revolutionized the thriller genre, making him a legend around the world. The movie Rope was filmed in 1948 but it does still holds up for today’s audiences. The film was an experiment in movie making for Hitchcock.
