Using technology such as CD writers, World Wide Web and P2P file sharing to copy and distribute music for free would be regarded as both legal and illegal. Copying music or software onto a CD and selling it would be strongly illegal. I personally disagree with sales of pirated music, but I also strongly agree with distributing music to your close group of friends or family. ... Music producers would argue, by doing this you are steeling other peoples hard work. They argument is that when you buy a music CD you are paying for licence to listen to it. The music is still not yours.
I personally think that this is load of rubbish, if you listen to music you might start to like the artist that created it, and you might want to start having a collection of original CD’s from that artist. ... So we can see that P2P music sharing promotes artists all over the world, because WWW and P2P is global.
