The title: To kill a Mockingbird
Harper Lee chose to call the book "To Kill A Mockingbird," although there is only one direct quote made by Atticus relating to the Mockingbird "Shoot all the bluejays you can, but remember its a sin to kill a mockingbird". ... A mockingbird can be defined as a bird that is very innocent, harmless and that does nothing but singing. ...
