Jason Hailey History 101:9 9/4/03 1) In what ways do Greek religion and divinities, as portrayed in the Odyssey, differ from the ancient Hebrew religion? The Greek religion and divinities, as portrayed in the Odyssey, differ from the ancient Hebrew religion in a number of ways, but I am going to concentrate on three main differences. First the religions differ in the number of gods/goddesses in which they worship. Secondly the gods/goddesses in which these religions worship, appear in totally different forms. The third and most important dissimilarity in these religions is how the gods/goddesses act morally. These three distinctions of the two religions allow us to see how truly different the Hebrew and Greek religions truly are.
