A Hard Day
It is a great pleasure for me to recommend Ms. Cinderella for admission, and fellowship support to graduate school in English. I first encountered her in a large lecture course I was teaching three years ago. Within a day, Ms. Cinderella has distinguished herself as an extraordinary student. One who could ask the most penetrating questions about the assigned reading and to expound her ideas with effortless extemporaneous elegance and grace. I soon found out that in a class of 150 students, I was beginning to carry on a dialogue with just one person, much to the fascination of her classmates, who seemed as awestruck as I was.
