File sharing among the Internet has become a huge issue recently. Many people are being sued by an organization called the Recording Industry Association of America. The most obvious type of file that’s being shared is music. On the computer, people can upload their music from the cds they bought, to the Internet, to what’s called an MP3. A MP3 is just a fancy computer word for a digital song. Programs such as Napster, Kazaa, and WinMX allow these MP3’s to be easily downloadable and most important, free. I believe the RIAA is being absolutely ridiculous. They can’t think they are going to pick random users from those programs and just sue them.
