     According to research done at Las Vegas Mercury fewer residents in the Las Vegas valley are recycling than three years ago. Only about eight percent of residents recycle meaning Clark County is one of the lowest in recycling rates. The county does have a meager goal of twenty-five percent of residents to begin recycling.
