The Performance of Leadership, Participation & Communication within a small group
With working in our small group, I found it easy to analyze others and myself for evaluation because I tend to do this on a daily basis with myself and other people. Our group would best be described by me as a Committee type of group (242). Our group concentrated on four things that we felt was most important for the group in being successful and being able to fulfill the requirements of the assignment. We felt that participation by all group members equally (or as close to), Leadership and Devotion to keep other group members motivated and on track, and Communication by informing other group members of activities accomplished or with difficulties of assignments while outside of group meetings were the most important qualities of a successful group (269, 279, 157). The Performance by all group members in maintaining focus on the assignment and these quality traits to work towards the goal of the group was our most concern.
I felt our group projected very good participation by all group members in our group. ... However we seemed to work with these differences and look at each person as to how they could benefit the group and bring to the group.
