Purpose
The purpose of this lab was to discover how the elodea would react in a lighted environment compared to a dark environment.
Hypothesis
If Elodea is placed in both a lighted and dark environment then the dark will produce more oxygen then the lighted.
Materials
· 6 Erlenmeyer flasks
· Elodea
· Rubber stoppers
· Aluminum foil
· 100ml graduated cylinder
· Heat lamp
· 6 palm pilots
· 6 oxygen censers
Procedure
1. ... Place elodea in four of the flasks and keep two empty
4. Put tin foil over 2 of the elodea flasks and 1 of the empty flasks
5. ... Using the palm pilots record data of every flask once every hour for 21 hours

Conclusion
Earlier I stated if elodea is placed in both a light and dark environment then it will produce more oxygen in the dark environment.
