Introduction
I developed a study to indicate if the candy company M&M produces equal amounts of colors for each bag. There are six colors of M&M’s red, blue, orange, green, brown, and yellow. ... For my population statistics I used the M&M web site results, from a previous study. The sample size used was 10 regular size bags of M&M’s. ... The main purpose of this project was to determine how many M&M’s of each color are supposed to be in each bag according to Mars Candy Company, and if those values are accurate. ... All M&M colors are independent variables.
Procedure
Nick and I bought ten regular size bags of Plain M&Ms, five each. ... For the final part of our project, I will be calculating the confidence interval (at a 95% confidence level) for the mean of each color M&M.
