“Hurricane Stalls off Baja California” It is the time of the year again, hurricane season! Being able to track developing hurricanes with hurricane tracking maps, we are able to see how close hurricanes are to us. With new technology and high tech devices, we are also able to calculate the speed the hurricane is traveling and how strong the impact will be if it does hit land. A recent hurricane has developed near the Baja Shore in California. Its name is from being the ninth hurricane that has been tracked this year. This year, the odd numbered hurricanes are male named and the even numbered hurricanes are female named hurricanes. Like any other hurricanes that hits land, the hurricane leaves trailed destructions and disasters.
