It remains that the principle reason as to why people fall into the relentless (not to mention never-ending, and inexhaustible) pursuit for thinness and perfection is because of the simple fact that people yearn to be accepted by society. It is without a doubt that media fuels these pursuits for perfection, for the types of people who fall victim to these unhealthy goals of thinness, and outrageous goals of reaching the “ideal” body weight, have ambitions that are driven by fantasized media images.
