A War. It is enough to say that the history of Humankind is all about war. However, a war gives me some question like is war humane? Or Is the society humane in a war situation? The article I read gave me some information about the question and allowed me to think about it. The article is about Ray Beehre, a New Zealander soldier who joined The World War Two as a part of hygiene unit. Therefore the article is about the war viewed by an ordinary soldier, not the great hero of the war. Since I¡¯m an ordinary person I could read imagining the war more realistic. Ray Beehre, who is the main character of the article, was born in Devon Port in 1961. His childhood was not very easy, since there was an economy problem at home caused by the Great Depression after the World War One. So he had to left school early and worked for money. And the adventure of a lifetime started when the war started. Jobs were still scarce and him and thousand like him were drawn to the war to help out the mother country, Britain.
