United States of America is a leading country where the technology advances well beyond any other countries in the world, its research and development facilities are renown worldwide and the country itself has made lots of contribution towards humanity. My interest in Caltech has grown tremendously as I carefully reviewed its prospectus via the Internet. Despite being one of the most reputable universities in America, Caltech University has also made its own contribution towards humanity in several different fields, one of which was the famous 1999 Nobel Prize won by one of Caltech’s very own chemist, Ahmed Zewail. Caltech’s research-based facilities enable me to develop analytical and problem solving skills, data handling, communication skills and teamwork skills. I believe these skills allow students to think and work more maturely. As a result, students will then have full confidence in their application of knowledge.
